PASSPORTS

The Clerk of Court is an acceptance agent for Passport Services. Applications for new passports, renewals and amendments may be obtained from our office.  New passports must be processed by the Clerk of Court or the Passport Agency. Renewals may be completed and mailed by the applicant.

Passport fee for new applications 16 years of age or older is $75.00 plus a $25.00 processing fee.  The $75.00 fee must be a check or money order payable to U.S. Department of State.  The $25.00 fee may be cash or check payable to the Clerk of Court.  In most cases, the passport is valid for 10 years.

For applicants under the age of 16, the passport fee is $60.00 plus the processing fee of $25.00.  The passport is valid for 5 years.

A certified copy of the applicant’s birth certificate or previously issued passport, valid driver’s license and two passport photos (size 2x2) are required to process the applications.
