The Clerk of Court’s office works with the State of Louisiana Department of Social Services and the District Attorneys office in setting and enforcing child support orders. After your application has been accepted with the District Attorney’s office or DCFS they will file proper pleadings with the Clerk’s office. The clerk’s office maintains court records, dockets, minutes and issues warrants and notifies parties of court dates. For any questions related to your case you must contact your case worker for information.
